Moonbow is the ideal Special if there is a lack of Time’s Pulse and Flashing Blade, and the user is instead opting for both an offensive boosting A Passive and a different Sacred Seal. Luna and Iceberg can be run in the event of either lacking Time’s Pulse, or possessing Time’s Pulse but choosing to not run Flashing Blade in the A Passive or Sacred Seal slot. Dragon Fang is potent on an Attack Asset Lyn, otherwise Glacies tends to outperform if lacking the Attack Asset. While normally difficult to activate in a single instance of combat, the combination of these three Skills can ensure that they can be activated quite frequently. Special: Dragon Fang / Glacies / Luna / Iceberg / Moonbowĭragon Fang and Glacies are powerful Specials with 4 charge cooldowns, that can be abused with a combination of Flashing Blade, Wrath, and Time’s Pulse. Ardent Sacrifice lets Lyn give 10 HP away at a time which can work well with an HP Flaw Lyn, while Reciprocal Aid can allow Lyn to swap HP with an ally. Reposition is a generally useful movement assist that finds itself versatile for both helping allies move in or retreat after an action.Īrdent Sacrifice and Reciprocal Aid are recommended as Assist skill options that can give Lyn alternate methods to drop her HP, which is often essential to start her strong offensive presence. Granting Lyn Desperation and Brash Assault once she reaches 75% HP or less, it frees up Lyn’s B Passive for strong skills that can aid her matchup performance.Īssist: Reposition / Ardent Sacrifice / Reciprocal Aid / Player Preference Sol Katti is Lyn’s unique weapon, and her ideal weapon of choice when running offensive sets. A Speed Asset is quite decent if one cannot obtain an Attack Asset Lyn as it results in an easier time activating Flashing Blade, or having a backup against follow-up denying skills. Her Resistance can be left at neutral if utilizing Ploy skills as Lyn can find herself able to affect targets with lower end Resistance stats, but otherwise it can be taken as a Flaw due to the fact that more often than not Lyn will not have to deal with magical damage.Īn Attack Asset is very important in order to aid in Lyn’s damage output as her poor base Attack hurts her greatly. It is not much of a special stat when Lyn is unmerged, only showing promise the more her stats grow. RES: Lyn finds herself with a decent Resistance stat of 29. Lyn’s HP was already at a weak value to begin with, so while it will weaken her overall bulk it realistically should not matter all too much. HP: An HP Flaw may just be Lyn’s best Flaw to take, as it makes it easier for her to drop to her 75% HP threshold.Heroes that inflict penalties through HP comparisons such as Aversa, or skills such as Panic Ploy were already going to reach thresholds past what Lyn could handle. It may not be what she would want most, but there are definitely benefits to be found. This is particularly due to the fact that it is a Super Asset that pushes Lyn’s Defense stat from a somewhat awkward base 26, to a more middling value of 30. As such, it is best to leave her Speed at a neutral value to avoid these potential problems.ĭEF: While Lyn’s Defense is better left at neutral as the ideal Asset for her to aim for is an Attack Asset, a Defense Asset has some interesting applications. This is due to the facts that taking a Speed Flaw can hurt Flashing Blade sets, weaken her initial performance before setting up Sol Katti, and the fact that Null Follow-Up can almost completely hard counter her weapon. SPD: A Speed Flaw is detrimental to Lyn despite the fact that Sol Katti’s refine can help her secure follow-up attacks on the Player Phase. No matter what set she is running, an Attack Asset will always help her performance go from a simple slap to what could be a more powerful sting. +ATK: Due to Lyn’s very poor Attack stat of base 28, Lyn finds herself in the unfortunate issue of making an Attack Asset near mandatory if she wants to so much as attempt to tickle her opponents.
